CLIMB's Purpose....

Our purpose is to connect students with their Lord and Master (Jesus Christ) in a deeper way.  After the multitude of teachings the Apostle Paul delivered to the churches, he would turn to the Father and continually pray for the end result he wished for all his children in the faith: Eph 1:17-19 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

CLIMB's purpose and desire is not to turn students into Christians who parrot learned doctrine; but rather a people who seek out the deep things of Christ in their own life. CLIMB requires students to write graded class summary papers on "how what they just learned" is applied to their own life and relationship with Christ.  If we as a Christ-centered Bible school fail to connect students with their Lord and Master (the Great Teacher) in a deeper way; we have failed our purpose.

CLIMB's Vision:
The Christian Leadership Institute of Minnesota & Beyond was established to develop and increase Biblical understanding and to equip Christians for the harvest that lies ahead. Our vision is to build "a foundation of Biblical truth" through the study and application of the Word. We endeavor to provide inspired Biblical teaching for all who hunger and thirst for a deeper knowledge and understanding of the Word of God.

Our Father's Business:
When Mary and Joseph found their twelve year old son (Jesus) in the temple. He declared to them, "Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" (Luke 2:49).
Many of us who became Christians as adults soon became aware that our lives needed to be readjusted to our new found truth in the Word of God. Our first years as Christians are often absorbed with turning our lives around. In a sense, our early Christian life is somewhat introverted. But there comes a time in our Christian walk when we realize God created us for a purpose beyond our own needs. This is when we sense it is time to "be about our Father's business".Our Father's Business:
